Mid/Junior Animator

The role of the mid-junior animator is to animate various entities within the game.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling animation sets with an emphasis on proper weight, balance and timing
  • Identify potential areas of risk and work with other groups to mitigate them

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in the game industry
  • Understanding of realistic body mechanics as well as animation principles
  • Good knowledge of Maya
  • Experience with skeletal mesh animation systems

Bonus:

  • Skilled with Unreal Blueprint and Sequencer systems
  • Knowledge of Motion Builder
  • Experience with motion capture and import
