Machine Learning Engineer:

The Machine Learning Engineer will help us define and build the next generation of infrastructure to improve the player experience by using a multitude of data points ranging from ‘bots to recommendation systems. This role works closely with cross-discipline peers in design, engineering, and other disciplines.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide the design, development, and evolution of data capture and subsequent improvements in the relevant systems.
  • Develop highly scalable models and tools leveraging machine learning.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Production leadership to create mid to long-term roadmap.
  • Code deliverables in tandem with the engineering team.
  • Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments (e.g. distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU).
  • Integrate the machine learning systems into core functional features such as matchmaking, ‘bots and store recommendations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as machine learning engineer/data scientist.
  • Expertise in one or more object-oriented languages, including C++, Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience working in a product and data-driven environment.
  • Experience in full loop of collecting and managing data to implementation of learning modules.
  • Academic or commercial experience with knowledge of generative models, GANS, neural networks (CNNs, RNNs), and gradient based optimization.
  • Excellent 3D math skills including linear algebra and vectors.
  • Experience with distributed storage and database systems, including SQL or NoSQL, MySQL, or Cassandra.
  • Experience using machine learning libraries or platforms, including Tensorflow, Caffe, Theanos, Scikit-Learn,or ML Lib for production or commercial products.
  • Experience in stream processing such as Apache Storm, Spark, or Flink.
  • Experience working with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

Bonus:

  • Familiarity with Unreal 4 and/or Unreal 5.
